Toothpaste without fluoride and without sulfates
Most toothpastes contain fluoride. The Elite Home children’s toothpaste is fluoride free toothpaste. One of the ingredients of fluoride is the chemical atom fluorine. Too much fluorine is not good for you. We think it is important that children do not come into contact with this. Toothpaste without fluoride works just as well as chemically manufactured toothpaste.
The Elite Home Children’s toothpaste is also toothpaste without SLS and SLES. SLS, short for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, is a chemical ingredient that makes products foam nicely. We often find SLS in combination with the sulfate SLES. SLES is the abbreviation for Sodium Laureth Sulfate. SLS and SLES have drying properties, which is not good for mouth health. Start brushing your teeth from the moment the first teeth come through. To do this, use a toothbrush that fits the age and mouth shape. Apply pea-sized toothpaste to the bristles. Brush the mouth gently and watch for bumps against the gums. This is often very sensitive in toddlers because of teething. Keep the minimum brushing time of two minutes. We recommend spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing the mouth. Store the children’s toothpaste out of the sun and between 5 °C and 25 °C.
